Hi! I'm Tina

I am a native Nashvillian, with a wonderful family history. Some of my ancestors crossed the frozen Cumberland River to settle in the Nashville area. My grandfather was the longest standing Mayor of Nashville. I have three children and two grands who call me "Lovie"! I love to travel, dance with my husband and play golf as often as we can.

My life has been a continuous sequence of challenges, blessings, love and loss. I spent many years balancing weekdays on the road with the responsibility of raising my children. In my Life's a Dance section is just that...me covering the funny, the challenging, the frustrating parts of my life as it unfolds.

My mother, affectionately named Gigi, was a fabulous cook. I am so thankful that I have the same love for cooking and entertaining as she did. I made a family cookbook for my three children that you will read more about in the How'd You Cook That section. The recipes I post are loved by my friends and family I hope you try some on your own.

Through a series of unexpected opportunities in 1993, I was invited to be one of the first 16 National Trainers in the Education Division for Apple Computer. We trained teachers across America to use technology in their classrooms. This opened doors for me to work with other companies, like Leapfrog School House. Today keeping up with technology can be a challenge for anyone. How do we as parents and grandparents monitor the apps that our children or grandchildren are downloading? My third area is named Our Digital Lives. You will find a wide range of technology topics for those seeking to become more savvy in today's digital world. You will also have an opportunity to read some of my past blogs from my old site. Feel free to drop me a line!
